- RECOVERY - The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the USDA Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-4419-S-09-0012. This project is totally funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. DESCRIPTION: The project is for Hazardous Fuels Treatment (ARRA Project WFM-0900-1-HFR-687—0910-1). The project will consist of mechanical cutting of encroaching vegetation 187 acres in Delta County, Michigan (Upper Peninsula) Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, fuel and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with the scope of work and provisions of the contract. This project is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses.. The NAICS code for this project is 115310 Fuel Management Services; the small business size standard is $17.5 million. Complete solicitation will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov in the next few days.
