- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division (NAVAIR-AD), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for: Flight Services of 16 flight hours and Maintenance Support of the USNTPS SH-60B Variable Stability System. The period of performance for this support is 01 October 2009 to 30 September 2010. This maintenance support shall take place at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD., which is provided by AirTec Inc, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. NAVAIR-AD intends to negotiate solely with AirTec Inc, for the above service with an anticipated award date of 01 October 2009. AirTec Inc, is the only known contractor possessing a suitable aircraft, with AirTec Inc, acceptable safety posture and desired configuration, available for hire at the specified time and having a proven instructional training program compatible with USNTPS standards. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement will consider all capabilities statements received. However, all proposals received by 10 Septermber 2009 will be considered by the Government. Technical capability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this provision. Therefore, it is incumbent on the interested party to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis for this service based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DOD contract.
