Description
Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F2N37E9128AG04; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-36, DCN 20090825, and AFAC 2009-0803. This acquisition will be full and open competition; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 923110. The business size standard is not established. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is R419. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 9411. CLIN 0001: 2,080 HRS, Base Year, Assistant Education Technician Services IAW attached Statement of Work. Non-personal services in support of U.S. Air Force voluntary off-duty education program providing academic advisement, information, guidance, and preparation of documents associated with education services and administrative duties as assigned. Period of Performance: 01 October 2009 - 30 September 2010. CLIN 1001: 2,080 HRS, Option Year 1, Assistant Education Technician Services IAW attached Statement of Work. Non-personal services in support of U.S. Air Force voluntary off-duty education program providing academic advisement, information, guidance, and preparation of documents associated with education services and administrative duties as assigned. Period of Performance: 01 October 2010 - 30 September 2011. EVALUATION CRITERIA: Evaluation of offers will be completed in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and represents the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: TECHNICAL CAPABILITY: The offeror shall possess the following capabilities: A two-year college degree and 15-30 semester hours in counseling, secondary education, or a related discipline is highly preferred. Resumes and transcripts shall be submitted with proposal packages to Contracting squadron. The contractor shall have a minimum of one year remaining at the current duty station. Evaluations of proposed PRICE will also be completed.
