- Sanitized Brand Name Letter This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This constitutes the only notification before award. Solicitation reference #F4AT829216A001 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333618. Small business size standard is 1000 employees. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The Description of Items and clauses incorporated in this synopsis/solicitation are applicable to this procurement and will be incorporated into any resultant purchase order. Description of Items and Quantity: CLIN 0001 Detroit Diesel-Reliabilt Marine Turbo After cooled (MTA) 16V-92 series propulsion diesel engines (Model # 8162-7400). Mandatory extra material shall include the following groups: Marine Exhaust manifold, marine turbo (06M07C1789), Water connections, Hydraulic governor (06N043129) are required to provide these engine specifications. Power choice/Material to include: Engine mounts, Exhaust outlets, Flywheel, Fuel filters and lines, Raw water pumps, Starting Motors, Tach drives and throttle controls. Note: modify these engine build specifications for hydraulic governor packages by changing to 06N043129, 06N03, 0663, 06M10 1458, and 06M07C1789. The engines shall be manufactured to the original Detroit Diesel Company (DDC) Serial Number 16VF7381 Configuration or UPC code provided by DDC. The engines shall be built with Genuine Detroit Diesel parts. Provide a one (1) year warranty on all parts and labor. This procurement requires engine cores. The engine cores shall be available for return back to vendor, up to 90 days after removal from vessel. 2 Each DELIVERY ADDRESS: 82 ATRS, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403. Interested parties must include, with their quote, their CAGE code, tax identification number (TIN), and delivery date. Quotes may be mailed, faxed, or emailed. Email is the preferred method. Mail quotes to 325th Contracting Squadron/LGCB ATT: Lt John Purcell, 501 Illinois Ave, Ste 5, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403-5526. Faxed quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.214-31, Facsimile Bids (Dec 1989) to ATTN: Lt John Purcell at (850) 283-8491. Quotes submitted electronically should be sent to john.purcell@tyndall.af.mil.
