Description

The requirement is for direct replacement engines currently used on all Port Operations Service and Security Craft for Navy Region NW, Code 31 - Port Operations Dept. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Mercury Marine, per FAR 6.301. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a commercial item and FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax request will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Electronic submission of proposals is not available at this time.
