- Solicitation - VA-259-09-RP-0375 Department of Veterans Affairs - VA Montana Healthcare SystemPosted: August 13, 2009Due: September 14, 2009POC: Jeanne Plummer, Contracting Officer - Jeanne.Plummer@va.gov. The VA Montana Healthcare System has a requirement for janitorial services at the new Billings Clinic located at 1775 Spring Creek Lane in Billings, Montana 59102. The contractor shall furnish all management, labor, supervision, transportation, training, equipment, supplies, and materials needed to provide Janitorial/Aseptic Housekeeping Services for 25,000 square feet including both patient and non-patient areas. Such services may include: general area cleaning, bathroom cleaning, periodic cleaning, bio-hazard waste handling and general maintenance services. Performance of all work under this contract will be in accordance with (1) current Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Manuals (JC); (2) Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA); (3) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Hazardous Materials requirements; (4) Center for Disease Control (CDC); (5) all regulations cited in this contract, (6) all applicable local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, codes, and directives; and (7) industry standards. The VA is committed to maintaining JCAHO approved health care facilities. The Contractor's efforts shall provide the service to meet the requirements for high quality patient care, sensitivity to proper scheduling to meet medical and patient needs, and sanitation for infection control purposes. The Governments anticipates awarding this contract for a base and four option years to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and this acquisition is total small business set-aside, NAICS code: 561720, size standard: $16.5 million. The solicitation will be available to download on FBO on approximately August 27, 2009 and will be due on September 14, 2009. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be posted on FBO and offerors are responsible for obtaining any/all amendments issued.
