Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service intends to make a sole source award to Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., for the connection of twenty –three freezers, and two cold rooms, and one glass door refrigerator, to an existing Siemens monitoring system at the Beltsville Area Research Center. The Siemens monitoring system is a Closed Market system that can only be purchased, installed, serviced, or upgraded thru the Siemens network. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Any work performed on the ARS system by someone other than a Siemens authorized representative will void the Siemens warranty. The anticipated award date is: Sept. 15, 2009
