Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for Tyndall AFB for the following commercial items: • There will be an open site visit schedule for September 4th, 2009 at 1300 central time. Item 1: One new canopy to be installed at Tyndall AFB Child Development Center as a sun shade for child play area. Specifications: 9‘ x 12' frame w/ canvas material ( or equal) QTY: 1 EA Item 2: One new canopy to be installed at Tyndall AFB Child Development Center as a sun shade for child play area. Specifications: 15‘ x 15' frame w/ canvas material ( or equal) QTY: 1 EA Item 3: Remove and replace canopies at Tyndall AFB Child Development Center. Contractor is responsible for the removal of current 10' hexagon frames and their disposal (qty. 2) Specifications: 10' hexagon frame w/ canvas (or equal) QTY: 2 EA Item 4: Remove and replace canopy at Tyndall AFB Child Development Center. Contractor is responsible for the removal of current 10' x 18' hexagon frame and its disposal (qty. 1) Specifications: 10' x 18' hexagon frame w/ canvas (or equal) QTY: 1 EA Item 5: Removal of canopy frame at Tyndall AFB Child Development Center. Contractor is responsible for the removal of current 10' x 18' hexagon frame and its disposal QTY: 1 EA Item 6: Erection of government supplied 18' triangular canopy approx. 9.5' tall at adjacent Youth Center QTY: 1 EA This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 314912 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is: 500 Employees. This procurement is being issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Set-Aside. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offertory--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
