- US Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District, intents to solicit a firm fixed price purchase order for the following supplies and services: 1)One (1) each John Deere Model 6130 or equal with various accessories, including a Front Loader John Deere Model 583 or equal, Mulcher - Kuhn Mulcher VKM 240 or equal, and Excavator or Backhoe Attachment (Digger Heckbagger) delivered to Mihail Kogalniceanu, Romania. 2)Provide an 8-hour in-depth training session on the operation and complete maintenance for the following equipment: John Deere Model 6130 or equal with various accessories, including a Front Loader John Deere Model 583 or equal, Mulcher - Kuhn Mulcher VKM 240 or equal, and Excavator or Backhoe Attachment (Digger Heckbagger) in Mihail Kogalniceanu, Romania. 3)One year service for the John Deere 1631 or equal tractor in Romania. The service shall be provided within forty (40) kilometers of MK Airbase, located outside Mihail Kogalniceanu, Romania. The service agreement will cover all lubrication and routine maintenance items for a tractor operated 500 hours during one year. 4)The effort also includes the following option items: John Deere Model 6130 or equal with various accessories, One (1) each Slope Mower/Cutter Multi Longer 4844P or equal all delivered to Mihail, Kogalniceanu, Romania, and one year service for the option tractor. The required delivery for the Equipment (tractor, loader, sweeper, etc) is 120 days after award and for the wearable parts it is 60 days after award. All equipment is FOB Destination. This acquisition will be conducted under full and open competition utilizing commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 specifically FAR 12.6. The estimated issue date for the request for quote is 2 September 2009 with a closing date of 15 September 2009. The estimated award date is 25 September 2009. The actual closing date will be specified in the RFQ. All offers shall be in the English language and all offerors shall be in EUROS. All responsible sources that submit a quotation by closing date and time of the solicitation will be considered by the agency. All questions and/or comments must be sent to Ms. Jaime M.
