- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z4539230A001R1; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36, effective date 11 Aug 2009; Defense DCN 20090825, effective date 25 Aug 2009; and AFAC 2009-803 effective date 3 Aug 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6515. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5047. Brand Name Justification: Requirement is for Artromick NX-10Workstations. Carts must meet the following minimum specifications: attached UPS/power supply with 12 hour run time; minimum 3" keyless locking drawer to hold a laptop computer; integrated 19" LCD monitor on swivel mount; cart work surface height adjustable within a 35"-45" range; demonstrated effectiveness in a clinical/bedside setting; surfaces must be cleanable with hospital approved sanitizers; must be compatible with HP8730. The required delivery date for at least 24 of the 151 carts is 25 Sep 09. Award shall be made in aggregate all or none. CLIN 0001: 151 EA Artromick NX-10 Workstations. Delivery: minimum 24 ea NLT 25 Sep 09, with full delivery six (6) weeks after contract award. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
