Description
PABCO ROAD POST & CABLE FENCE: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, permits, and services necessary to Contractor will furnish labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and transportation to remove approximately 2.5 miles of existing t-post and smooth wire fence and construct a total of approximately 4.8 miles of post and cable fence. The fence will be built along the both sides of portions of an established paved road per the attached maps. PabCo Rd. currently experiences high volumes of truck traffic. Contractor will need to submit a traffic control plan for PabCo Rd. for the duration of the project, to the Contract Officers Representative for approval, within 15 days of contract award. Contractor must coordinate with PabCo Gypsum, in developing the traffic control plan. Contractor will be responsible for obtaining a Clark County Air Quality Dust Permit prior to beginning construction. The work is located in Clark County, NV. THIS REQUIREMENT IS OPEN TO BOTH LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESSES UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated period of performance is 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee: 20% of the bid price, Payment and Performance bonds: 100% of the contract price. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about September 16, 2009. The solicitation and associated specification and drawings will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov and then follow the link to www.fedconnect.net. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov, and the FedConnect website at http://fedconnect.net.
