Description
Wage Determination #2005-2521, Revision #9, 05/26/2009 Request for Quote for Solar Gas Turbine Maintenance Non-Personal Services: The Government intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis a requirement contract to Solar Turbines Incorporated, 2200 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101-1745 for the maintenance of the two (2) each Solar Gas Turbines, Package Serial Number: TG97064 and TG97062, Engine Serial Number 0546T and 0303T for Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, TX under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and all other items or services necessary to perform four (4) non-scheduled visits for maintenance trouble-shooting and component replacement. Contractor shall perform two (2) each scheduled basic maintenance inspections per unit, (semi-annual at 4,000 hours and annual at 8,000 hours) in accordance with manufacturers maintenance schedule. Contractor shall provide al consumable parts, provide written reports documenting inspections/maintenance. Contractor shall clean area of all soil, debris and fluids generated. No welding or open flame is permitted without a welding permit from the Lackland Fire Department. All personnel shall sign in and out upon arriving and departing the compound. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated with a Period of Performance of 01 Oct 2009 through 30 Sep 2010. FOB: Destination. The North America Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 333611. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by this agency.
