Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean HealthcareSystem, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to negotiate a commercial(FAR Part12) sole source contract with Clary Corporation of Puerto Rico, Inc,1570 Ave. Ponce de Leon, Urb. Caribe, Rio Piedras, PR under theauthority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no othersupplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This action isto procure preventive maintenance and repairs for the back up system,MGE UPS, Model 40KVA located at DVA, Veterans Benefits Administration,Federal Building, Hato Rey, PR. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FORCOMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation package is available.Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to theserequirements by September 11, 2009 2:30PM. America/Puerto Rico. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed contractaction based on response to this notice is solely within the discretionof the Government.
