Description

RECOVERY--PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE PENDING CONTRACT NUMBER: WHITMAN, REQUARDT & ASSOCIATES, LLP., W912DR-09-D-0057 Initiated as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, (Pub L. 111-5) dated 17 February 2009, Fort Meade received authorization for this project. The project has been listed as high priority Operations & Maintenance Activities for many years, and has remained unfunded. The facility included in this scope of work for repair is currently occupied and operational, despite the malfunctioning interior systems. In general terms, this Task Orders design effort consists of preparing nominal-criteria Design-Build (D/B) Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, in accordance with the DD Form 4283, authorizing the project. Subject to approval by the Corps in order to expedite the schedule, more fully developed design documents may be accepted. A scoping conference will be held at Fort Meade during which specific requirements will be identified for this Task Order. Coordination with the Architect-Engineer (A-E) is required after award of this contract to determine specific milestone dates based on the timeframe to have complete D/B RFP packages, ready-to-advertise no later than a Notice-to-Proceed + 100 days (No later than 5 Jan 2010). TaskA will be converted to a number upon award. This TaskA posting will linked to the task order award, with actual task order number, when award is made.
