- This file includes details about each required item under this RFQ within section B of the attached document. The following requirement was originally posted to GSA E-buy, but as a result of the dollar value and composition of the offers received it has been determined that this requirement needs to be opened up for open market pricing as well. As a result the following notice has been posted to comply with FAR acquisition posting requirements. Please see the notice as well as the attached file for a breakdown of the specific items required. Synopsis: Open Competition - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation – Reference# FA2521-09-T-0139 *This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20090825. NAICS is 315211 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer that meets the salient characteristics listed below as described in FAR clause 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal. 45 CONS, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 is seeking to purchase Brand Name or Equal commercial items manufactured and designed by various manufacturers as follows: 1) OFFICER DUTY EQUIPMENT, PLEASE SEE INCLUDED FILE (FA2521-09-T-0139) for list of items and salient characteristics Delivery: 1) 23 Sep 2009 (Alternate delivery schedules may be proposed by the contractor as a component of the RFQ response) 2) Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is: FOB Destination, 45 SFS/SFR-F3K3E1 14775 PHILLIPS PKWY SUITE CAPE CANAVERAL FL 32920 The following provisions and clauses apply: Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
