- Sole Source Justification The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Tableau Software 400 North 34th Street, suite 200, Seattle, Washington for the period September 12, 2009 through September 11, 2010. The proposed contract action is for one-year maintenance of the Tableau Professional software for analysis and research in support of the “Condition of the Banking System” reports for the OCC Executive Committee. The OCC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and FAR 13.5. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responses received with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capability to meet the requirement received by 12 PM September 8, 2009 will be considered by the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. Such information, if submitted, shall be emailed to Maryaileen.murphy@occ.treas.gov. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL by September 7, 2009. If this procurement is competed, no additional synopsis will be published and a request for quotation will only be forwarded to the intended vendor and firms demonstrating bonafide capability to meet the requirements in accordance with this synopsis of intent.
