Description
RFP Attachment A THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a solicitation of Requisition number 162-099F-16141 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26.The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423120 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. All responsible Contractors shall provide a quote for the following: STATEMENT OF WORK CISCOworks Network Utility Tool I.INTRODUCTION Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Directorate of Information Technology (DIT) provides support to all OSHA offices (Federal, States, and Consultation) for applications software and web services developed to support the data requirements to meet OSHA mission needs. The OSHA-DIT is responsible for the purchase and maintenance of enterprise licensed products and equipment purchased for nation-wide distribution at all OSHA sites and for all network operations. II.SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work for this procurement is to renew the annual maintenance for the CISCO Network Utility Tool known as CISCOWorks. III.STATEMENT OF WORK Under this statement of work, the vendor shall provide support as listed in attachment A to this Statement of Work (SOW). IV.DESCRIPTION The software and support listed on (Attachment A) is required to provide OSHA with the appropriate upgrade and support of the tool for monitoring OSHANet. The CISCOWorks tool will automate much of process, along with extending the capability and efficiency of the manual process that is currently performed. V.DELIVERABLES The software, implementation services, and support outlined on Attachment A shall be provided to the following location: •US Department of Labor - OSHA, 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Room N3663, Washington, D.C. 20210 Product Updates Product updates, fixes, and patches shall be available through the following methods: •Secure web download •File Transport Protocol (FTP) site •Diskette or CD Version upgrades shall be available to the the technical contact as released. VI. SECURITY CONFIGURATIONS The provider of information technology shall certify, by submitting a proposal to this acquisition, that: a) All applications are fully functional and operate correctly as intended on systems using the Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC). This includes Internet Explorer (IE), version 7, and subsequent versions of IE that are integrated into the FDCC, configured to operate on Windows XP and Vista (in Protected Mode on Vista). For the Windows XP settings, see: http://csrc.nist.gov/itsec/guidance_WinXP.html, and for the Windows Vista settings, see: http://csrc.nist.gov/itsec/guidance_vista.html. b) The standard installation, operation, maintenance, update, and/or patching of software shall not alter the configuration settings from the approved FDCC configuration. The information technology should also use the Windows Installer Service for installation to the default “program files” directory and should be able to silently install and uninstall. c) Applications designed for normal end users shall run with full functionality in the standard user context without elevated system administration privileges."
