- Approved Synopsis Synopsis: Maintenance and Repair of Radiation Therapy Equipment/Software Solicitation # FA3010-09-R-0017 Class Code: J065 NAICS Code: 811219 Description: Maintenance and Repair of Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Keesler AFB intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract to Varian Medical Systems 2250 Newmarket Parkway Suite 120 Marietta GA 30067 for the maintenance and repair of Medical Diagnostic Equipment systems. Vendor shall provide calibration, preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and machines listed below; as well as support equipment per manufacturer's recommendations and all subcomponent associated with those units all in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. All equipment is located in the Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi Medical Center. All offers meeting government requirements and standards will be accepted and considered. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before the offer due date specified on the solicitation/RFQ will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
