Description
The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Fort Bragg intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Harris Corporation, 1680 University Ave., Rochester, NY. The contract shall provide: 57 Broadband Ethernet Radio, 4.4-5,0 GHZ, RF-7800W-0U440; 57Extended three-year warranty for RF-7800W-0U440(a total of five years); 54Two Foot Panel ANT, 4.4-5.0 GHZ, 27 DBI, RF-7800W-AT002; 20One Foot Panel ANT, 4.4-5.0 GHZ, 21 DBI, RF-7800W-AT001; 20 Three-foot para refl ant, 4.4-5.0 GHZ, 30 DBI, RF-7800W-AT003; 5515-meter, push-up mast, winching; 52Cable, POE/Data, RF-7800 W-OU440, 91 meters, Part number 12069-0020-03; 20Power Amplifier, Ber, 4,4-5.0 GHZ, RF-7800W-PA440; 52Lightning Protector, Part number 12069-0022-01; 55SECNET 54 CMOD, Part number 12069-0022-01; 55SECNET 54 EMOD, Part number EMO1; 10SECNET 54 Key Fill Cable, Part number SN54-FC01; 1Sector Antenna, 4.4-5.0 GHZ, 15DBI, Part RF-7800W-AT005 Harris Corporation is the only known manufacture of a tunable broadband Ethernet radio that works within the military broadband. The RF-7800W Broadband Ethernet Radio System extends network services up to 50 km to multiple sites reducing the need to lay cable in high threat areas. The Army requires a tunable radio and equipment to provide worldwide communication and to efficiently execute time sensitive targeting and exploitation tactics. The Broadband Ethernet Radio System must also be compatible and have the ability to synch with the units existing Harris equipment. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.500. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. This acquisition is entirely on an unrestricted basis. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
