Synopsis - 4810, Valve, Butterfly PR Number(s): FD2030-10-70191Estimated Release date of RFQ: 28 Sep 2009Estimated Response Date for RFQ: 28 Oct 2009The anticipated award date will be: 6 Jan 2010Item: 0001NSN: 4810-00-410-3629 TPP/N: 398288-4-1, 4A90203-105BDescription: This valve isolates the air turbine motor system from the environmental system. Operating voltage is 18 to 29 VDC, Operating pressure 84 PSIG, Operating temp 600 degrees F weight is 4.55 lbs approx. S/S width. Various other subs as rubber/copper ect.A multi-year contract with a base period of two years is being solicited (CLINS 0001, 0001AA, & 0001AB). However, the government will also accept one-time, quantity range bids as well (0002). Please note that a multi-year contract is preferred and will be given preference. A one year - to be negotiated option is contemplated for year 3. MYC: BEQ 1st 12 Months = 8, BEQ 2nd 12 Months = 4, Option Year 3rd 12 Months = To Be Determined and To Be NegotiatedQuantity Range: Min-2, Max-12Applicable to: C5Destn: FB2039, Tinker AFB, OK HISTORY: Last purchase was Jun 2009 to Honeywell International Inc. Unit price was <$15,000.00 for a quantity of 6. FY10 FUNDS APPLY TO THIS REQUIREMENT. NO AWARD CAN BE MADE UNTIL FY10 FUNDS BECOME AVAILABLE IAW FAR 52.232-18 AND 52.232-19. Written response is required. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(13)(ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
