- RECOVERY--PROJECT NUMBER NR10ADMM; 08-0094 ARRA AS705 RENOVATION PER FAR5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THECURRENT CONTRACT NUMBERS: Humphrey Mechanical, Inc. N40085-09-D-5340, NorthState Mechanical, Inc. N40085-09-D-5341, T.A. Woods Company N40085-09-D-5342,Virtexco Corporation N40085-09-D-5343, R & W Construction Co. N40085-09-D-5344and MechWorks Mechanical Contractors, Inc. N40085-09-D-5345, Mechanical MultipleAward Construction Contract (MACC). The Officer In Charge of Construction,Marine Corps Installations East, Naval Facilities Engineering CommandMid-Atlantic intends to competitively award a firm-fixed price task orderutilizing Recovery Act of 2009 funding under the Mechanical MACC. Please note that only the contractors who have been awarded a Mechanical MACCfrom the OICC MCI-East Camp Lejeune, NC contracting office are eligible toprepare and submit a proposal for this solicitation. The anticipated scope ofwork includes renovations and repairs to building AS705 including but notlimited to replacing all the mechanical systems; installing a sprinkler system;replacement of the electrical and tel/com systems; expanding and repairing thelobby area including providing ADA accessible toilet rooms; replacing thealuminum framed exterior room wall systems with metal stud walls and blastresistant doors and windows; replacing all tubs and vanities, providing two ADAaccessible rooms; providing new flooring, wall treatments, and ceilings in allguest rooms and the meeting room; and exterior repairs including spallingconcrete, railing repair, ADA ramps, and stair repairs; and incidental relatedwork.
