Description
This modified notice is released to announce the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District requirement for a supply contract to provide a HI-SCAN Heimann X-Ray Inspection System as described in the Description of Work. Solicitation W912P8-09-R-0128 and other information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fbo.gov. It is all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments, updates, bidders library, responses to questions and answers. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download the solicitation and all other documents from the fedbiz website. No telephone requests will be accepted. The basis of award will be the offer conforming to solicitation specifications that provides the lowest price, technically acceptable to the Government. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about 08 Sep 2009 with a closing date estimated on or about 15 Sep 2009. This action will be Total Small Business Set-Aside, the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334517 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The requirement will be procured as a firm fixed price contract. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award. Information on registration may be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to eligible for timely award. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency.
