Description
Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This acquisition will be conducted under the procedures for acquiring commercial items authorized in FAR Part 12 and the authority to use Simplified Acquisition procedures for commercial requirements provided in Far Part 13.5. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to procure the necessary personnel, products, materials and other services required to plan and implement a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) / Real Time Location System (RTLS) for the Bethesda Hospitals' Emergency Preparedness Partnership (BHEPP). This announcement constitutes the formal Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a separate written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ No. NLM-09-197-RS. This aquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519 with a small business standard of $25.0 million. The period of performance is 12 months from date of award with one additional one year option. The NLM reserves the right to make multiple awards. The Statement of Work is attached in this notice. All proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m. (local prevailing time) on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Electronic copies are acceptable. However, one signed original of the proposal must be received within one business day from the time designed for receipt of all offers. All responses must be in writing and must include pricing information and meet the criteria requirement. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. All proposals and inquiries regarding this procurement must be submitted via e-mail to ryan.singletary@nih.gov. All questions regarding the combined synopsis/solicitation must be received by Friday, September 18, 2009. Please reference the solicitation number "NLM-09-197-RS" on your proposal and/or inquiries. Facsimile submissions are not authorized and collect calls with NOT be accepted.
