- Description
- The AMC Contracting Flight (AMC) anticipates issuance of a solicitation on a full and open competitive basis for the Gulfstream III (C-20B), Gulfstream IV (C-20H), and Gulfstream V/550 (C37A/B) Pilot and Flight Engineer Training. This requirement is for initial and refresher academic and simulator training, and various other types of Pilot/Flight Engineer training. The estimates for the required training services are indicated in the charts below. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price requirements contract with the base year commencing on or about 1 April 2010 and four each one-year option periods. This acquisition will provide the government with the best values based on the evaluation factors established in the solicitation in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611512 and the small business size is $25.5 million. The solicitation will not be set aside for small businesses; all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. The solicitation will include FAR Provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-3, Offeror's Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, and FAR Clauses, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commericial Items, and 52-212-5,Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (DEV). Anticipated issuance date of solicitation is on or about 15 October 2009. No hardcopies of this solicitation will be issued.
