- Accessories list and quantities DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard Port Security Unit 301 intends TO PROCURE Deltoid, Neck, and Groin protector and inserts for the Modular Armor Carrier –Releasable body armor system. A description of the items to include part numbers can be found on the attached spreadsheet. No substitutes will be accepted for the items requested. This notice is a solicitation for a commercial Supply in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. This acquisition is on a(n)unrestricted. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must demonstrate that they are qualified to perform the work by providing a brief (5 pages or less) Price quote by 10:00 AM, ET, September. 11, 2009. Cost Proposal: provide Firm Fixed-Price. Electronic transmissions to Baptistia.Albino@uscg.mil are PREFERRED, and must be timely. Evaluation Criteria: Price, technical specifications and the ability to deliver the items to the middle east. Questions about this requirement must be in writing and submitted by e-mail. Telephone inquiries are strongly discouraged. All inquiries must include the solicitation number, your full name, organization name, address, phone and fax numbers, and must be received by 1:00 PM ET, September 10, 2009. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to ensure the proposal is received by the date and time shown above.
