- Description
- All questions regarding this SYNOPSIS should be submitted in writing to the following E-Mail address: christopher.mitchell@barksdale.af.mil and courtesy copy richard.driscoll@barksdale.af.mil. This Acquisition shall be competed as a total small business set-aside. This synopsis is for the purpose of a pre-solicitation notification only. The US Air Force, intends to issue a solicitation to provide a 20' Trailer Model EW2025 (Brand Name) Trailer. The contract type will be a firm fixed price contract and all equipment shall be delivered within 30 calendar days from the date of award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this program is 336214, and the Classification Code of RECOVERY 2330, and a business size standard of 500 employees. The Government will award a contract resulting from the subsequent solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered. Award will be based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-2(b). This solicitation will be issued via Internet only on FedBizOpps Website at www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments shall be made via FedBizOpps only. It is the contractors responsibility to check the below-listed Internet address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. No corrections and/or changes to proposals will be allowed after the proposal submittal due time and date. "Please keep in mind that funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer." Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about the estimated date of Sept 10, 2009. Quotations are anticipated to be due on or about Sept 18, 2009. Contractors must be registered and current with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government contract award.
