- Full scope of required services. The U.S. Court of Appeals is seeking janitorial services for the E. Barrett Prettyman United States Courthouse, (Cafeteria). The selected contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, management, equipment, tools and other direct and indirect costs to provide cleaning services for the cafeteria located at 333 Constitution Ave., N.W. Washington, D.C. This is a pre-solicitation notice for a firm, fixed-price contract to provide janitorial/custodial services for United States Court of Appeals (USCA) cafeteria facilities located in Washington, DC. The contract will be on a month by month basis. The base contract work can be summarized as follows: The selected contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials and equipment needed to provide janitorial services for the USCA cafeteria. Contractor shall perform all work in compliance with all requirements as stated in the attached SOW. Previous experience in providing janitorial service to similar facilities shall be required. Services at the USCA cafeteria shall be performed once per month, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., or until such time as is required to complete the assigned tasks. The USCA is open 365 days per year and the cafeteria hosts approximately 25 special events each year. Contractor scheduling and flexibility may be required. Interested parties are requested to download and view the electronic version of the SOW. It is the responsibility of interested parties who intend to submit a proposal to monitor this site for any changes. Contractors will be required to inspect the site where services will be performed to ensure subsequent proposals encompass all services required. An organized site visit will be conducted on: Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. (this date is subject to change only at the convenience of the Court). Contractors MUST pre-register their intent to attend the site visit with Mr. Paul Palmer at Paul_Palmer@cadc.uscourts.gov no later than close of business day on September 17, 2009.
