- MFWD Cab Tractor W912DQ-09-T-0188 10 September 2009 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 20090115. The government intends to compete a firm-fixed price procurement that is set-aside for small business under NAICS code 423820, with a size standard of 100 employees. Quotes in response to this solicitation must be signed and dated and submitted no later than the Close of Business (COB), 18 September, 2009. Quotes may be submitted via hardcopy, to the address below, by email to James.D.Kindle@usace.army.mil or by facsimile to 660-438-7815. Vendors are responsible for verifying the receipt of any quotes submitted by fax or email. In order to assure that your quote is received, you can contact J.D. Kindle at 816-389-2291. Any resulting contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) supply contract. Delivery shall be no later than 30 January 2009. Please note that vendors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and Online Registration and Certification Application (ORCA). Additionally there are some unique reporting requirements relevant to the use of ARRA funds (see FAR 52.204-11) Offerors are responsible for understanding the provisions and clauses incorporated in this solicitation. Utilizing funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), this solicitation is for the procurement to furnish and deliver, as a minimum, the following requirement: MFWD Cab Tractor 100-110hp 540/1000 PTO SUVs: Three Hitch Category: Two (2) Mechanical Front Wheel Drive Differential Lock Front Axle suspension Suspension Cab Deluxe Cab package Tilt steering column Left & Right hand doors AM/FM radio Air Condition / Heater Sun Visor High back suspension operator seat w/arm rest Exterior left/right telescopic mirrors Front and Rear cab windshield wiper Interior rear view mirror Continuous Variable Style Transmission Vandal Protection: cab/fuel cap Front and Rear Fenders Instructors Seat w/seatbelt Back up Alarm Frame Mounted Tool Box Auxiliary Engine Block Heater System Equip with Axle mounted rear duals Operators Manual Service Manual * Note: The above requirement will be used to assist in the maintenance of the Harry S Truman Dam and Reservoir, located in central Missouri. The tractors primary function will be used to power a 20 flex wing rotary cutter, tandem gang disk and other implements used in the development of wildlife food plots, ground improvements and restoration. Mowing slopes range from: 1 on 2 to 1 on 5 (Tractor shall be ballast to maximize operating efficiency for all applications.) Freight "Freight will be FOB Destination Separately Priced Line Item.
