- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make an award to a responsible quoter for the provision of Solid Waste Removal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, Two Mile Drive, Otisville, NY 10963. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government. The estimated yearly contract requirements include: (1) rental fee for one (1) 30 cubic yard open-top roll off container with disposal approximately once monthly, (2) rental fee for one (1) 30 cubic yard self-contained compactor with disposal approximately once weekly, (3) rental fee for one (1) six (6) yard compactor with disposal approximately once monthly, and (4) pull fee for an open-top 10 yard container with approximately three pulls weekly. All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulation. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 17, 2009, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about October 16, 2009; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered.
