- RECOVERY -- THIS AWARD NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS FOUR PART PROJECT IS LOCATED AT BENTON, IL. The Spillway Bridge repair will prevent future corrosion, reduce future maintenance costs and correct current deficiencies. The removal of the old railroad bridge constructed of wooden timbers and iron I-beams will correct public safety deficiency and restore ecological value to the area. Silt shall be removed from the boat travel areas of Gun Creek, North Marcum and Ina to improve public access and safety into and out of the specified areas. This contract shall also require the excavation and disposal of silt which has built up in the specified areas. In accordance with Section 803 Evaluation Requirements, the evaluation consensus board (using the evaluation criteria identified in the RFP), determined FutureNet-Bhate JV, LLC as the best value contractor to perform the services.
