- NSN: 4235-01-387-1498, Spill Containment Unit, Unit Each contains 10 ft X 10 ft X 12 in, and is in accordance with the following: Part Number BCI-XR-016 from Basics Concepts Incorporated, Cage 0V4E7. Direct access to defense and federal specifications, standards, and related standardization documents is available on the Internet via http://assist.dapsmil or http://www.dodssp.daps.mil. Solicitation will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price, Unrestricted with Other Than Full and Open Competition. Surge & Sustainment requirements do not apply for this requirement per FAGD inquiry on 08/27/09. Cost and pricing data is not required as procurement is for a commercial item. Progress payments will not be included per FAGD database inquiry on 08/27/09. Economic Price Adjustment is not applicable. This is a commercial item being solicited I/A/W FAR PART 12 and FAR PART 13.5. FOB is Destination. Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination. Quantity Variance is plus or minus 0%. Required delivery is 77 days ARO per FAGD inquiry 08/27/09. PR Line 0001 for a quantity of 158 will be delivered to Tracy, CA. PR Line 0002 for a quantity of 186 will be delivered to New Cumberland, PA. This item is not a critical application item for a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP 08/27/09. ABVS applies. This is a one time, FFP Definite Quantity Contract without a quantity option requirement since the current requirement will fill the current demand. NSN will not be evaluated for a new LTC package since there is not a consistent demand for this item. The combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued on 09/01/09. Closing date will be 09/22/09. Estimated award date is 10/01/09. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
