Description
1: Method of Procedures: There is no Method of Procedures (MOP) for this project. NLM does not have the internal technical experts to write a MOP for the replacement and installation of the Iris scanners. The SOW only outlines what needs to be done, not how to do it. NLM's intention is to hire a company who is capable of providing solutions to the outlined requirement and is capable of installing eye scanner hardware as well as run electrical cables from the scanner to main data base. 2: Who is the Manufacturer and what is the part number of your current Access Control panel? IrisAcess V10.0, Iridian Technology 3: Is the current access control panel Wiegand interface protocol compatible? Cannot be determined. 4: Is the current administration software installed for the Iris Server BM-ET330? If not, then what software is currently being used? Cannot be determined. 5: Upgrading to a different manufacturer's administration software may mean that the existing data may not be portable to the new manufactures administration software. If this is the case, then who will be responsible for the enrollment of existing users? The data from the current data base will be left intact and that no data will be lost. In the event that the data is lost then NLM will be responsible to enroll users back into the system. It is NLM desire that no data will be lost. 6: The part number (BM-200) specified in the solicitation does not exist, should this actually be part number (BM-ES200)? It is my understanding that it is part number BM-200. 7: The description of work calls for the installation of 4 iris eye scanners and 5 standard BM-200 Panasonic readers with tilt screen; However, the Deliverables only call for 5 BM-200 Panasonic Reader with tilt screen. Am I correct in thinking that are providing and installing only (5) BM-ES200 Iris Scanners with tilt screens? Yes 8: New Door Location: A. Is the door where the new Iris Scanner is to be located a solid door? Yes, it is made of wood. B. What type of locking device would you prefer for the new door location? Magnetic lock or an electric strike? Magnetic lock
