- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a sole source award to Verizon, Coraopolis, PA, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and utilizing the Simplified Acquisition method described in FAR 13.106, the Period of Performance is for twelve months. The Contractor shall provide Verizon local phone services for communications services; Federal relay services. The proposed contract is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 14.106 and 6.302.1. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), but a Notice of Intent. No RFQ will be issued. Interested parties may, however, request further information (no later that September 18, 2009) by email to Contract Specialist (Jeannie Dyson at Dyson.Jeannie@pbgc.gov).
