- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. FAR Subpart 13.5 will be used. The solicitation number is N00178-10-R-1006. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to procure on a full and open basis. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure Cisco brand Hardware and Software for the period of 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010. There are approximately 400 individual line items; therefore, please email Kelley Fitzsimmons at kelley.fitzsimmons@navy.mil for a copy of the spreadsheet if interested in providing a quote no later than 15 September 2009 2:00 PM EST. The items quoted must be the exact items specified on the spreadsheet; substitutes are not acceptable. There will be no multiple awards and the Government reserves the right to award all, some, or none of these items. Quotes must be provided by an authorized provider of Cisco products and must be able to provide all items. This solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 2005-33, 2005-34, 2005-35 and 2005-36. Effective on or before 11 August 2009 & DFARS Change Notice 20090904 dated 4 September 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code associated with this procurement is 334611 and the FSC is 7025. Pricing shall be FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA; therefore the proposal must include all applicable shipping charges. The closing date is 18 September 2009 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Time. The anticipated award date is 1 October 2009. All items shall be priced FOB DESTINATION, Dahlgren, VA.
