Description

"RECOVERY" This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the requirements of the act. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING RESTRICTED TO THOSE HUB-ZONE CONTRACTORS WHO RESIDE WITHIN THE STATES OF SOUTH DAKOTA, NORTH DAKOTA, & NEBRASKA. The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is currently seeking potential bidders for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for: 1. Finish work, including HVAC, lighting, floor finishing, electrical, sheetrock, replacement of existing ramp, construction of mechanical and storage rooms, and sprinkler system changes in I-Pod of AAYRTC. 2. Construction of gravel roadway to I-Pod. 3. Replacement of existing shingled roof. 4. Construction of ‘French drain' system at the Wakpala Health Station. Request for the package shall be in writing either by email or telefax and it will be made available approximately fifteen (15) days AFTER the date of this publication, which will be September 14, 2009. THERE WILL BE A NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE OF TWENTY-FIVE $25.00 DOLLARS FOR THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS. For a copy of this solicitation package responses should be address to "Contracting Officer," Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service, Federal Building, Room 309, 115 4th Ave SE, Aberdeen, South Dakota 57401 BID BOND, PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BONDS ARE REQUIRED Project Magnitude is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 The Indian Preference clause in employment and subcontracting is made part of this solicitation and resultant contract.
