Description

The Department of Homeland Security intends to award a Sole Source Contract to the St. John Group, LLC, 165 Old Farm Road, Marietta, GA 30068. The requirement will be a Cost plus Fixed Fee contract, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, with a period of performance of twelve months after contract award. The Contractor shall provide Phase III support for the Integrated Consortium of Laboratory Networks (ICLN) Information Technology Communication Coordination (ITCC) Subgroup. The support services shall include making recommendations of a common interface and architecture that enables the transmission of laboratory data among laboratory response networks, including architecture design and specifications. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to award to only one source under the authority authorized under (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested sources may submit a letter via email to the Contracting Officer identifying their interest and capabilities to respond to this requirement. Responses must be received no later than September 25, 2009, 4:30PM EST. A determination to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for proposals or quotations.
