Storage units Solicitation Number: VA-263-09-RI-0423 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Lebanon PA. is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing the required Storage Units as outlined below. Applicable NAICS Code is 337215. Responses to this notice must be submitted by email and received not later than September 14, 2009. No telephone or fax inquiries will be accepted. Description of work to be performed includes: 1 Room 125 - 5 each 5 tiered double face mechanical assist moveable storage unit, 7 L x 36 W, complete with closed uprights 18 D back-to-back shelving, full height metal back panels between back-to-back shelving and laminate face panel. 1 each 5 tiered double face mechanical assist moveable storage unit, 6 L x 36 W, complete with closed uprights 18 D back-to-back shelving, full height metal back panels between back-to-back shelving and laminate face panel. 1 each 5 tiered single face stationary storage unit, 6 L x 18 W, complete with closed uprights and laminate face panel. 1 each 3 tiered single face stationary storage unit, 12 W x 18 D, complete with open rights. 150 Sq. ft. low profile floor 55 Ft. low profile rail 25 Ft. L ramp 175 Sq. ft. VCT floor covering The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HubZone, 8(a), small disadvantaged business, small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 337215 (size standard $4.5 million per annum). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and the size of your business pursuant to the following questions; (1) Is your business large or small? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your firm a certified HubZone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business? A solicitation is not currently available.
