- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission intends to award a sole source contract to Harvard Business Publishing to provide a Virtual Executive Leadership Program. It shall include a portal that provides continuous education for fifty (50) senior leaders in the area of executive education and development. While other vendors may provide some elements of this requirement, Harvard Business Publishing is the only program currently available that provides online resources, case studies, interactive learning activities, audio downloads, tools, worksheets, step-by-step guides, access to experts and peer mentoring to enable mastery of leadership and management skills. There is no other college or vendor that offers a virtual senior executive education program with customized sessions with Harvard faculty, using Harvard Business Review articles, with on-line facilitation, and facilitation between programs. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive bids. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement. Procurement action will be conducted under FAR 6.302-1 with the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c), as only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirement.
