- CANCELLATION NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W80WLM92170001 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-34. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337124 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2009-09-14 16:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be FORT IRWIN, CA 92310 The USA ACA Fort Irwin requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, Rolling Safety Ladder Rolling Safety Ladder rolls easily to and from work areas. 1" steel tube frame and handrails provide structural support. Handrails is 30" high on 4-12 step ladders with 26" D top platform. The base is 42"W by 87"D. 7" deep stairs have perforated tread for general duty use. Step ladder has four casters with floor locking mechanisms. Ladder is protectively packaged to prevent damage during shipping so some assembly required., 1, EA; LI 002, Pallet Rack Shelving System includes Upright Frames, Heavy Duty Load Beams, Pallet Supports, Column Protectors and Sheet Pywood. Shelving units will be completely installed in the building to include bolting to the floor in compliance with the California Seismic Zone 4 requirements under the UBC 2007 Edition as adopted by the County or San Bernardino, C, 1, EA; LI 003, Upright Frames and SupportUpright Frame - ILOS, 48x180, 19-each Upright Frame - ILOS, 48x120, 3-each Upright Frames & Supports, 3 eachHeavy Duty Load Beams, 94x4 1/8 Heavy Duty Load Beams, 108x5, 96-eachHeavy Duty Load Beams 120x5, 24-each Pallet Supports, 48" length, 276-each Column Protectors, 24" High, 10-eachlevel Plywood, Cut to Fit, 3/4, 66 each, 1, EA; LI 004, Bollard and Guard Rail/Track ProtectorsHeavy Duty Bollard will be anchored into the floor providing protection from vehicular traffic penetrating the cage from the short wall angle. The Guard Rails are also anchored to the floor providing protection to the caged area from the longest exposed side from vehicular traffic. The Door Tract Protectors are floor anchored and protect the track on the roll up door from damage also from vehicular traffic moving in and out of the warehouse area., 1, EA; LI 005, Work Benches, Cabinetry, Light Duty ShelvingLight Duty Shelving for use just inside the roll up door in support of the vehicles (Truck/Forklifts) utilizing this area for extra rachet straps and marking instruments that are used on a daily basis. The 2 work benches, 60"Lx30"D and 14 Floor Cabinets, 36"Wx24"Dx78"H will be utilized inside the warehouse and the controlled fenced area while/for performing Technical Inspections and storage of sensitive Items as they are received from the CRP warehouse prior to issue or prior to turn-in or shipping off the installation., 1, EA; For this solicitation, USA ACA Fort Irwin intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACA Fort Irwin is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Bid MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of Buy. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.), which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Delivery must be made within 30 days or less after receipt of order (ARO). The offeror must provide within its offer the number of days - not to exceed 30 - required to make delivery after it receives a purchase order from the buyer.
