Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a Sole Source Award to Pitney Bowes Inc., 1305 Executive Blvd Suite 200, Chesapeake VA 23320-3676. The contractor will provide postage through postage-by-phone service to PBGC for its two reserve accounts with U.S. Postal Service for two Pitney Bowes meters. PBGC anticipates issuing a blanket purchase agreement to the contractor for this service. This is a follow on contract to prior service. The period of performance is October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010. Pitney Bowes is the only known source for this service. This is not a request for proposals; however, an interested party may e-mail a written capability statement with sufficient experience for these required services, which shall not exceed three (3) pages in length. Interested parties may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the provision of this service, which may or may not be considered by the agency via email to Miller.Mark@pbgc.gov no later than 3:00 PM EDT on September 16, 2009. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued.
