Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Vaisala Inc., Louisville, CO under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for 1 each #EXP 300 SAT communication module, transceiver, enclosure with power and connector and cable #215946, 1 each #SRH851 Data Management Service, annual, help desk, ticket tracking, system state notification dispatching, data display, 1 each VSAT comms fee, annual, 1 each Data display- customer designed one time fee, 1 each Installation, 1 each On-site/annual maintenance, includes one preventive maintenance call. Total estimated value is $32,500. These products/services are designed, manufactured and distributed solely by Vaisala Inc. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13. NAICS 334519 with business size of 500 employees applies. A firm fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
