Description
Locations of signs throughout Courthouse. photos of existing signs drawings descriptions SPECIAL NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION REPLACES SOLICITATION 09-005-USCA, ORIGINALLY POSTED ON 9/10/09, THE CLOSE DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS WILL NOT CHANGE!!! Fabrication and Installation of H1 and H2 Brackets and Sign Panels Scope: 1 Provide H1 and H2 brackets and sign panels. Drawings and pictures illustrating the H1 and H2 brackets and panels are attached for reference. Detailed information on the panel wording, material, and finishes is shown on the location drawings. Lettering is to be silkscreened on to panels and fonts are "Futura Medium" in all caps. 2 Two brackets are owner furnished and all others are to be provided by contractor. Contractor shall verify that panels for the owner furnished brackets fit. 3 Contractor shall mount all brackets, including the two furnished by the courts, under the supervision of the courts. 4 Provide shop drawings to the courts. Written court approval shall be obtained prior to fabrication and installation. Terms: 1 Work shall be done during normal working hours of Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Coordinate the timing for site visit or to perform work scope with Scott Ellermets or Paul Palmer. 2 Contractor must submit name, date of birth and social security workers one week in advance of work start for USMS background check. Not applicable to workers who have already been cleared to work in the building in the preceding six months. 3 It is recommended that contractors visit the site to verify field conditions prior to proposing because there will not be price adjustments for failure to verify existing conditions. Marble in the existing building is historic and proper precautions shall be made to avoid damage. 4 Provide proposal no later than 09/20/09. 5 Work shall be completed by 01/31/10.
