- Description
- Hill AFB intends to purchase Wreckmaster or equal towing and recovery training for no less than 10 students. The class should include carrier loading/unloading, wheel lift/under reach and sling towing, calculating resistance, calculating anchorability of the tow truck, rigging working load limit and ultimate limits, calculation for tow capacity, recovery techniques and passenger vehicle up-righting techniques. The government will provide a classroom with a computer and projector. The wreckers (government provided) that Hill AFB requires training on are: a 2006 14 ton standard wrecker (Kerr Dan) with a under car lift and a 1999 Roll Back wrecker 30 Ton capacity. All other tools, materials, labor, and equipment shall be provided by the contractor.
