Description

The Louisville VA Medical Center has a requirement for a contractor to provide construction services to replace three existing water-tube boilers, associated equipment and renovate the existing boiler plant facility. Project work will include, but is not limited to the demolition, asbestos removal, equipment replacement, provisions for temporary backup boilers and related work as required per the plans and specifications to be provided on or before October 5, 2009. The period of performance to complete this project is 180 calendar days from receipt of Notice To Proceed. All bidding materials, drawings, specifications will be available at the time the solicitation is announced for download from the website at www.fbo.gov. All offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to this solicitation at the Fedbizopps website prior to the response time. This solicitation will be evaluated pursuant to FAR Part 15 and Part 36. Details of the evaluation criteria to be announced at the time the solicitation is posted. This is a 100% set aside for small business concerns pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127(d). The NAICS code 238220. The small business standard is $14 Million.
