- Required Characteristics This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-09-Q-0551 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36 (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100 % Small Business set-aside, under NAICS 335122, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) CLIN 1: 15 ea. remote meter (water and gas) reading devices. See attached required characteristics. (vi) Quoted unit prices to include all applicable taxes, fees, and delivery charges. (vii) Delivery to be FOB Destination, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ, within 30 days ARO. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on meeting required characteristics and price. (x) Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
