Description

The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division, intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order for a renewal with Gelco Information Network GSD, Inc. for the “Gelco Travel Manager®’s software license and/or maintenance travel subscription,” for a period of performance for twelve months and four one-year options. The authority for this action is FAR 13.106-1(b). The Department of Commerce has been using the Gelco Travel Manager®’s software license and/or maintenance travel subscription services and an approved and secure encrypted connectivity has been established. However, sources that can satisfy the requirements for “Gelco Travel Manager®’s software license and/or maintenance travel subscription,” may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. In so doing, the source shall provide written evidence that they are authorized by Gelco Information Network GSD, Inc. to provide the services that the Department of Commerce requires. This notice is not a solicitation, and no solicitation is currently available. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as Amended, applies to this acquisition. Inquires will only be accepted via email to sandra.shaffner@nist.gov. All information received by 2:00 p.m., EST, 9/21/2009 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed acquisition will be based on responses to this notice; such determination is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone requests will be honored.
