- PROVO AREA OFFICEROOF INSULATION STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENT Provide polyisocyanurate roof insulation and fasteners for the Provo Area Office located at 302 E. 1860 S. Provo, Utah, 84606. Approximately 30,261 square feet of insulation system is required. See Attachment 1 for overall roof plan with flat roof areas highlighted. Materials shall meet the following requirements: 1. Polyisocyanurate Roof Insulation; ASTM C1289:a. Qualities: Closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to heavy duty glass fiber mat facers.b. Average R-Value: Minimum: 19 d. Compliances: UL, WH or FM listed under Roofing Systems Federal Specification HH-I-1972, Class 1e. Acceptable Products:1) E'NRG'Y-2; Johns Manville2) Ultra Gard Gold; Johns Manville3) GAFTEMP Isotherm R; GAF4) Approved Equivalent 2. Fasteners: Corrosion resistant screw and plate fasteners in accordance with insulation manufacturers recommended fastening pattern for fastening into the existing corrugated metal deck substrate. Products shall be delivered to the Provo Area Office with seals and labels intact, in manufacturer's original containers, and with manufacturer's recommendation for temporary storage. The following submittals shall be required: 1. Product Data: Provide manufacturer's specification data sheets for insulation material and fasteners.2. Shop Drawings:a. Submit manufacturer's shop drawings indicating complete installation details of insulation system, including identification of each insulation block, sequence of installation, layout, drain locations, thicknesses.b. Shop drawing shall include: Outline of roof, location of drains, complete board layout of insulation components, thickness and the average "R" value for the completed insulation system. There is a drawing of the roof design attached to the solicitation.
