- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER SPRRA1-09-T-0070. PRON: AX9C0240AX. The Government has a requirement for a quantity of 13 each of a Shipping and Storag, NSN: 8115-00-420-7824, Part Number: 145C6100-4 applicable to the BK CH-47 (CHINOOK), with delivery to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. The required delivery is 13 each, 240 days after contract award (DACA). This item is restricted to The Boeing Company, Cage Code: 77272 and Container Research Corporation, Cage Code: 05259. The cost to the Government to breakout this part and acquire it competitively has been determined to exceed the projected savings over the life span of the part. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
