- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) on a sole source basis with Carlyn Consulting, 16341 Limeston Court, Leesburg, Virginia, 20176-7825. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. The total contract dollar amount will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. This procurement is for a follow-up study to assess the progress of the Office of Research Women's Health Program. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541611 and the size standard is 500 empl. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes preparation. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to this requirement by email to holleyv@od.nih.gov, by September 21, 2009 at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
