- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to solicit, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), to purchase ONE EACH NON-CONTACT, PORTABLE LASER SCANNER SYSTEM WITH 3D MODELING, SCANNER AND POLYWORKS/MODELER & INSPECTOR SOFTWARE, 12' CONTINUOUS MEASURING REACH FROM STATIONARY POINT, SEVEN AXIS ROTATION FOR MANIPULATION OF THE SCANNING HEAD, WIRELESS INTERFACE BETWEEN THE SCANNING ARM AND LAPTOP DURING SINGLE POINT HARD PROBE SCANNING, USE A SCAN GRID AND PROVIDE VISUAL OR AUDITORY WARNING TO ENSURE OPTIMAL DATA COLLECTION. FOB Destination to PSNS, Bremerton, WA. Provide training, technical manuals, and standard commercial warranty. Funds are currently not available for this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not obtain funding by 15 October 2009, the solicitation will be cancelled. Required delivery date is within 30 days after contract award. This requirement to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors. Numbered Note One applies - The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 18 September 2009 with a closing on 24 September 2009. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.ccr.gov.
